Rattan Convent School’s science labs are designed to offer students practical and engaging learning experiences in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.
Chemistry Lab
The chemistry laboratory is well equipped to meet the requirement of secondary and senior secondary level of education. The laboratory is well ventilated. The gas supply is also fitted with proper safety measure. Water supply and proper sink are installed. Modern techniques has been used to install the chemical stand. Laboratory has enough space to accommodate more than 15 students at a time to perform their practicals and teacher can cooperate the students individually.
- Chemistry laboratory equipment include water bath, Bunsen burner, Thermometer, pH meter.
- Laboratory consumable like boiling flask, plastic funnel, volumetric flask, chromatographic apparatus, petri dish are present.
- Laboratory accessories like tripod stand, laboratory stands, laboratory clamps and laboratory stoppers are available.
Biology Lab
The Biology Lab at Rattan Convent School is designed to give students hands-on experience in scientific investigation. It helps them understand concepts in molecular and cellular biology.
- The lab is well-equipped for secondary and senior secondary students.
- Proper gas and water supply is available, ensuring safety during experiments.
- Safety measures like fire extinguishers and first aid kits are in place for students' protection.
Physics Lab
Rattan Convent School’s Physics Lab is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, providing students with hands-on experience to explore the concepts of physics. The lab is spacious and designed for group activities and individual learning.
- The lab has a variety of equipment, from basic items like lenses, magnets, and beam balances to advanced tools like voltmeters, ammeters, and spectrometers.
- It helps reinforce theoretical knowledge by allowing students to conduct experiments and gain a better understanding of physics concepts.
- The lab encourages direct observation and helps students develop important experimental, analytical, and data analysis skills.
